Korean Food: Dakkochi (Korean Chicken Skewers)

Dakkochi (Korean Chicken Skewers)
If you are a fan of processed chicken meat, must try the typical food of this Myeondang. The shape is the same as the chicken satay. Dakkochi itself is a piece of chicken meat skewers and cooked like chicken satay. Dakkochi consists of two flavors namely spicy sauce and sweet sauce.


Ingredients:
• 500 grams of chicken breast fillets, diced
• Puncture satay

Seasoning:
• 50 g onions
• 50 ml of soy sauce
• 3 cloves garlic
• 1 pear, peeled and chopped
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1 cm ginger
• 1 leek, thinly sliced
• ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
• ½ tablespoon sesame oil

How to make:
  1. The first step we must do is we must first create a marinade, namely garlic along with onions, pepper, brown sugar, pear and ginger, process until smooth, add all the remaining ingredients and stir until blended.
  2. Mix the spices with chicken and chicken stir and let stand for about 45 minutes, remove from refrigerator and separate between the chicken and marinade.
  3. Cooking spices that have been separated in a non-stick pan until thick, then remove and set aside.
  4. Chicken skewers with satay puncture, do until all the chicken skewered, then grilled on a fire while in spread with herbs that have been in cook until the chicken is cooked.
  5. Lift and serve this dakkochi cuisine while still warm.
