Hanbok Women


Hanbok (South Korea) or Choson-ot (North Korea) is the traditional dress Korean society. "Han" is the designation for Korea, and "bok" means clothing. So, literally Koreans had actually just call their clothes as "Korean clothing". The Korean people are very proud to wear Hanbok, because Hanbok is the traditional clothing of their identity. Hanbok generally has a bright color, with simple lines and have no pockets. Although literally means "Korean clothing", hanbok today refers to "the Joseon Dynasty-style clothing" commonly used in formal or semi-formal celebration and traditional festivals, such as Chuseok or Seol-nal (Imlek day).

Hanbok women consists of several elements, the following is a detail picture:
  • Jeogori (저고리): The top hanbok
